Pipeline transform that looks up or inserts flag combinations (Hop Combination Lookup with EDW surrogate/hash options). Dimensional Update generates this transform for junk dimension tables; you can also place it by hand.

Options

  • Connection / schema / table — Junk dimension target.

  • Keys — Incoming flag fields.

  • Technical key — Surrogate column written to the stream.

  • Hash code — Optional combination hash strategy.

Prefer modelling the junk dimension on the .hdm canvas so DDL, catalog publish, and facts stay consistent.
