A Business Vault bridge is a query-friendly table of two or more hub hash keys, usually sourced from a Data Vault link (many-to-many or hierarchy). Optional weight supports allocation. Optional load SQL overrides the generated SELECT from the first bound link.

Grain

Bind a Data Vault link (preferred) and/or two or more hubs. The target layout is the participating hub hash keys, plus the optional weight column.

Load

  • Empty SQL — Business Vault Update selects hub hash keys from the first bound link table.

  • Authoring SQL — Table Input runs that SQL against the Data Vault (or Business Vault) target, then writes the bridge.

SCD2, PIT, and SQL business tables have their own dialogs.
